Reiki and Holistic Healthcare Teacher and Practitioner, Certified Yoga Teacher, Founder of Roots of Life
Bruce Taylor has always had a strong interest in working with Qi, or vital life energy, and his career is dedicated to helping others work with their own energy to promote balance, healing, and stillness in life. He can vividly recall sensing this connection to his energy as a young boy and this has led him on a lifelong pursuit to understand and work with this energy.
Bruce is a Reiki teacher and practitioner focusing on Usui Reiki Ryoho, however, he has also trained in many other forms. In addition to Reiki, he is a teacher and practitioner of meditation (zazen focus), pranayama (the mastery of one’s breath), tantric energy and sexuality, and plant medicines. He is also a well-being and relationship coach for both individuals and couples. Further, Bruce is a certified yoga teacher and instructor (RYT 200) focusing on Ashtanga and Yin forms.
Bruce is focused on teaching and practicing Reiki as he has learned it at its roots; in Kyoto, Japan. Bruce’s aim is to help people discover that Reiki is not simply just a healing practice or modality, but rather that Reiki is a practice to promote internal stillness and peace, of which healing is a natural result. He teaches Reiki with deep respect for the traditional, spiritual, and non-dualistic sides of the practice, much as it has been taught to him.
He continues to work closely with his teachers in Japan and globally as he is not simply a teacher, but further a lifelong student as well.
Bruce is currently based in Dordogne, France where he runs Reiki training and healing, Holistic Wellness retreats and programs, and retreats for couples. Outside of his time in France, Bruce is also a visiting practitioner at The Vitality Center, one of Hong Kong’s oldest Holistic Wellness and Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics, where he serves as the center’s Reiki practitioner/healer. Further, he trains, teaches, and practices, to a global audience via his retreats, in-person trainings, and his course offerings online.
