Helene Williams

Reiki & Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Registered Nurse, Author, and Reiki in Healthcare Advocate

Helene is a bachelor’s prepared registered nurse, published author, and graduate teacher of The International House of Reiki. She has over seventeen years of experience providing Reiki sessions in hospital, hospice, and extended care facility settings. She has a well-established private practice where she teaches traditional Japanese Reiki and mindfulness meditation classes.

She has presented information on Reiki and holistic health care nationally, participated in a hospital-based Reiki research study, implemented and facilitated a hospital Reiki Volunteer Program, and, in 2013, established the Lancaster Community Reiki Clinic. She provides bi-weekly online Reiki meditation sessions for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She currently sits on the board of the Center for Reiki Research.

She has served on the faculty of the Omega Institute at the Wisdom of Reiki Conference and has been interviewed for the podcasts From Doctor to Patient, Dive into Reiki, and Be the Light.

Helene is also an instructor with Medical Reiki International, an organization dedicated to advancing the integration of Reiki into medical settings. Through its comprehensive training program, Medical Reiki International emphasizes professional standards, ethical conduct, and evidence-informed practice to ensure Reiki is offered with the highest level of integrity and competence in healthcare settings.
