Kathleen Lester, MS, CMRM, is the founder of the Animal Reiki Alliance, and board-member-at-large, Medical Reiki Works. Kathleen founded the Animal Reiki Alliance in 2010 to bring together Reiki practitioners and other complementary healing practitioners in an effort to develop professionalism and standards for our work with animals and human companions. Kathleen taught all levels of Animal Reiki, Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioners, Animal Reiki for Veterinarians and Animal Communication.

Kathleen also offered Reiki sessions to both human and animal companions in Baltimore, MD and distance Reiki world-wide. Kathleen has authored several articles and one book: Animal Reiki Research: Implications for Practice.

Currently, Kathleen supports Reiki through her work as part of the board of Medical Reiki Works, carrying on the vision of Raven Keyes. Kathleen works with clients in hospital settings, as well as animals in veterinary settings.

She received her Reiki training from Tanja Anderson, Reiki Master, Teacher and Frans Stiene, Reiki Teacher & Author, International House of Reiki. She received her Animal Reiki Training from Kathleen Prasad, Animal Reiki Teacher & Author and her Medical Reiki Master Training from Raven Keyes, Reiki Teacher, Medical Reiki International. She received her Animal Communication training from Terri Diener, Animal Communicator & Teacher, Pet Speak.

Kathleen’s vision is that Reiki and other complementary healing modalities will become a standard part of everyone’s human and animal healing team.
