Elaine has been teaching Reiki since 1995 and juggled this with a busy corporate career in marketing and market research. Despite “success” in the business sense, Elaine felt dissatisfied and unfulfilled. She stepped away from her career to set up The Reiki Centre in 2007 and has since dedicated her work to teaching Reiki and advocating for high-quality Reiki education free from dogma.

Elaine has taught thousands of people Reiki over the past 30 years and nearly 100 Reiki Masters via her rigorous Teacher training program. She has written two books: “Reiki, Pure and Simple,” a down-to-earth and accessible introduction to Reiki, and “Reiki – A Path to Freedom,” which outlines the spiritual aspect of Reiki that is often side-stepped or forgotten. 

Elaine takes an active interest in supporting the evolution of Reiki. She is a founding member of the Usui Reiki Association, Singapore (TURA), and has authored two large-scale global Reiki consumer research projects. She has a YouTube channel and Podcast.

Elaine travels between Singapore and the UK, offering workshops and events as well as numerous online group and community gatherings.
