João Magalhães began his Reiki Journey in 2000, he Founded the Portuguese Reiki Association in 2008 and contributed to the development of volunteering in many institutions and hospitals. He is also an alumni of the KAICIID, International Center for Dialogue, and founded as association for the promotion of peace and dialogue. He has written many technical books on Reiki, and also on Buddhism.
