Robert began studying acupuncture and Chinese medicine in 1999. After graduating in 2003, he has maintained a busy acupuncture practice specializing in pain management. Robert is also Nationally Board Certified in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He has earned two master’s degrees, a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and a Master of Library and Information Science with a focus on research and archival work.

In 1996, and before learning acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, he started his training in Reiki (Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho). Robert’s mission is to provide quality traditional Reiki training and professional Reiki treatments at his practice.

Reiki: Transmissions of Light: The History and System of Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho (Vol 1), some of Robert’s research into the history of Reiki, has been published and is available in both bookstores and on amazon.com.
